Prismatic large-part manufacturing

We love large parts that are easy to handle. With a weight of up to 20 tonnes.

Any company who takes on big orders must be able to manage them. manroland manufacturing services has modern machine tool equipment as well as flexible clamping devices. Workpieces up to eleven meters long can be machined precisely.

Large-part manufacturing. manroland can manufacture components with dimensions up to 3.5 meters wide x 5.5 meters long x 2 meters high and weights up to 20 tonnes. In dual table operation it is possible to machine workpieces up to eleven meters long. Our machines work with an output of up to 100 kilowatts. Tools with a diameter of up to 315 millimeters provide depths of cut from around 15 to 20 millimeters to counteract casting deformation and warpage, with highly precise distances between bore holes.

Flat-part manufacturing. CNC-controlled machine tools enable cubical flat parts to be manu-factured very efficiently, machining up to five sides in one clamping operation. Most of the machine tools are equipped with special accuracy packages that ensure the highest quality for large component dimensions.

Manufacturing in a climatized room. To meet the highest requirements for tolerances on shape and position, manroland offers serial production of sideframes under stabilized temperature conditions with features up to IT4.

Prismatic workpieces in any geometry – primarily from aluminium – are fully processed into special parts that meet the high quality specifications for CE safety-relevant workpieces. For this we use modern five-axle universal processing systems.
