As dimensions increase, so does the necessary precision. The manufacturing of precise large parts demands great expertise in processing and planning. This is where our manufacturing services offers you unique know-how. In press construction, high-grade large parts are the basis for a press that works within tolerances of a few micrometers. For its entire life cycle and beyond.

Rollers and cylinders. manroland offers the complete process chain for machining rollers and cylinders: turning, milling, and boring in one clamping operation on CNC machining centers and subsequent grinding. We have excellent partners for galvanic surface treatment.

Noncircular grinding. The machine park is specifically equipped for rollers and cylinders with the appropriate controls: noncircular machining of precisely defined contours is no problem.

Special technology. In finishing we achieve accuracies of Ra 0.1. Our grinding machines are equipped with integrated measuring systems that enable us to perform controlled grinding “in process” up to a diameter of 450 millimeters. We can grind components up to 6000 mil-limeters long with a maximum diameter of 980 millimeters. Automatic disk changeover enables three different surface structures to be processed in one clamping operation.
