Have fun reading. You have 900 millimeters of time.
With a pile height of 900 millimeters, the ROLAND 200 with high-pile delivery leaves plenty of space for other work between pile changes. Or enough time to get a more precise picture of its many outstanding details by reading this brochure. But don’t rush – there is still enough room in the high-pile delivery.
Fewer work steps. The high-pile delivery* with a maximum pile height of 900 millimeters reduces the number of pile changes, especially with long runs of thick substrates.
Low space requirement. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the ROLAND
200 H requires a minimum of floor space. The four-color version with a coating device in the delivery module offers print product enhancement with no additional space needed.
Highly dependable performance. The RCI remote controlled inking system integrated in the delivery, together with automated setting possibilities, reduce makeready time to a minimum. Color and register corrections on the run are easily done.
Short makeready time. Remote adjustment of lateral and diagonal register*, automated plate changing with EPL™ (Ergonomic Plate Loading)*, fully-automated cloth-type washing systems*, and ink slide presetting with PressManager smart* reduce makeready time. The same applies to the easy to clean ink fountains with a special coating.

Four plus one is four.
The ROLAND 200 H breaks away from the arithmetic of printing unit configuration. The time is past when you could count the printing units to see whether a press can print more than four colors in one pass. Now with four or more printing units, high quality coating is also possible.
Coating in the delivery. The idea is both ingenious and simple: the coating module is integrated in the ROLAND 200 H extended delivery module. This enables also smaller printing companies to economically produce value-adding print effects – with the economy coming from the investment cost as well as the space requirement.
Printing and coating. The ROLAND 200 H printing units are also easily converted into coating units. The ROLAND InlineCoater smart permits fast changeover between coating and printing. It only takes two minutes to switch over the last unit from printing a spot color to coating with protective dispersion coating and matt or gloss dispersion coating on paper or cardboard.
Coating and coating. A press with five or more printing units and InlineCoater smart and coating device in the delivery module offers many more possibilities. Spot and flood coating or using oil-based and dispersion coating for the inline Twin Effect application provides brilliant results.
Comprehensive cardboard package. The ROLAND 200 with high-pile delivery handles a wide range of substrates from 0.04 to 0.8 millimeters. The cardboard package* with cover frames on the feedboard, rear sheet edge guides above the impression cylinders, and CardboardWheels on the transferters and delivery drum provide markless sheet travel.

Dry faster.
The wish of some parents: the child has hardly seen the light of day and is already dry behind the ears. For freshly-coated sheets from a ROLAND 200 H, this is a matter of course. A special dryer ensures exceptionally fast drying.
New generation dryer. To achieve optimal results despite the compact design and the resultant short drying phase, a special dryer has been developed. This consists of a dryer cassette, which, depending on the configuration, is equipped with an IR dryer alone or with a combined IR/hot-air dryer with up to three modules. This accelerates drying of the coating layer which means jobs can move to the finishing operations sooner and thus be delivered to the customer sooner as well.
Highly stable register. The massive base frame guarantees stability and precision. This minimizes maintenance and wear for the lifetime of the press.
No color variations. The geometry of the fast-reacting 15-roller inking unit has been taken over from medium- and large-format presses and provides consistent inking over the entire run. Besides that, the three oscillating rollers in the 5-roller damping unit effectively counteract print disturbances.
Precise color control. The most precise ink slides on the market with 200 linear increments and no gaps between the slides enable color to be accurately matched and exactly reproduced.
