ROLAND 200 Sees Marriage Proposal

This is a premiere in manroland history: a longstanding customer proposes on a printing press. However, drupa makes everything possible. It was clear to Andreas Wulf, Production Manager at Druck- und Verlagshaus Fink in Ostfildern/Germany: “Should I ever pop the question it will be at drupa.” He arranged for a printing presentation on the ROLAND 200 to which he took his fiancée Sylvia at 11 am. Without having a clue she stood in front of the press that suddenly put out the printing sample: “Some sail to Beijing harbor, others into the harbor of marriage!” Her “yes” came out radiant with happiness and with tears in her eyes at the same time. The other visitors watching were touched by the moment.
